Welcome to the activity registration page of the People’s Summit at Rio+20 for Social and Environmental Justice!

Before registering, read carefully the methodology document to understand how the activities at the Summit were conceived and how they are articulated.

From today until April 20th, you be able to register here:

Self organized activities (organized by networks and/or coalitions)
When:
June 15th and 16th – morning and afternoon
June 18 and 19th – morning
June 21st – morning.

Seminaries, debates, workshops, talks, meetings, guided visits to communities and projects, articulated by themes or sectors and proposed by the largest number possible of organizations, collectives or movements.

Each network and collective may promote meetings that, with specific characteristics and themes, will be preparatory to the Pre-assembly Convergence Plenaries.

Self-organized activities are, therefore, part of a common process of articulation and agenda, from the development of different collectives, that will take us to the People’s Assembly, organized in three axes:

Denunciation of structural causes and new forms of expanded capital accumulation;
Solutions and new paradigms;
Agenda, campaigns and mobilization that well articulates the process of anti-capitalist mobilizations after Rio+20.

We recommend that self organized activities gather their results following these axes and that they point their intention in contributing to one of the five plenaries of convergence.

Registration period for self-organized activities ended (May 5th).

Future Territories
When: all days of the People’s Summit (June 15th-22th).

Future Territories are spaces where we will demonstrate solutions to the many global crisis from the perspective of the peoples themselves.

At these territories, we will gather experiments, practices, exchange of knowledge and popular education that will show to the Summit’s participants and to the society paths to the construction of a socially and environmentally fair planet.

The Future Territories include Aterro do Flamengo and other areas at Rio de Janeiro.

Registration period for Future Territories ended (May 5th).
